Although I suspect not as most of what is in here is not stuff they teach you on an MBA course. Instead it draws on my experience as a General Manager, Managing Director and twice Chief Executive, as well as my experience on the receiving end of at least two new bosses myself.

If you haven’t got an MBA, don’t worry! I have been working with SME Managing Directors for over two decades and a big revelation for me is that most did not set out to run a business. They are an accidental business leader. That in itself is NOT the problem – many entrepreneurial people do a great job; indeed usually better than those bogged down in theory!
